Neuro Support

For funders, NASCs, and support coordinators

A specialist disability support service for neurodivergent adults.

Neuro Support is a specialist support service run by a support worker. It's built to hold executive function support in the client's own daily system, support that would otherwise need ongoing in-person support worker hours. This page is the public reference for IF hosts, NASCs, and support coordinators.

StatusDiscovery Calls and Support Sessions are available now, and Support Sessions can be funded through IF today. Neuro Support's first month and its ongoing service open with the Neuro Agent app, which Jamie is building. Opening soon. The waitlist holds your client's place. Their prices are indicative, and every price is confirmed in writing before any paid work begins.

The service

A specialist support service that builds a personal support system.

Today the service is support-worker time: a free Discovery Call and paid Support Sessions with the specialist support worker (Jamie). These need no app, and they can be funded through IF now.

The Neuro Agent is coming soon. It's Neuro Support's own app, and Jamie is building it. The idea is unchanged: your mind is for ideas, your Agent remembers the rest. It captures, organises, and speaks up when something matters. When it opens, the first month (indicative NZ$1,399) is support-worker delivery: a 90-minute interview and 8 x 15-minute Support Sessions, building the client's system with them. The funded thing is the service, not any piece of hardware or software.

The aim is to externalise executive function. Working memory, time awareness, task initiation, and prioritisation get held in the system rather than in the client's head. The clinical basis is Russell Barkley's externalisation framework, the most established model for ADHD support.

The client owns what's in it. They can see it, take it, delete it, and choose who's in. There's no subscription lock-in. If the client stops working with Neuro Support, the system is theirs to keep.

The audience

Neurodivergent adults with ADHD, autism, or both.

Common day-to-day struggles include starting tasks, holding several things in mind at once, tracking time, and deciding what to do next.

The same mechanism extends to anyone with similar functional needs: acquired brain injury, intellectual disability, chronic illness, and physical disability with executive function impact.

Some clients run things themselves. Others have a circle around them: a family member, a partner, or a support worker. A support person can be invited in, if the client chooses. Access is the client's to grant and take back, and the funded person is always the client, whoever helps day to day.

Pricing. Discovery Calls and Support Sessions are priced and open now. The first month and the ongoing service are indicative until they open with the app. Every price is confirmed in writing before any paid work begins.

IF compliance. Every transaction is a specialist support service relating to the client's disability support needs, the test that matters under the post-April-2026 flexible funding rules. Each is priced on the cost of delivering it, and sits below the NZ$1,500 per-purchase pre-approval threshold for Tiers 1, 2, and 3 as a result. Support Sessions also sit below Tier 4's NZ$500 threshold, so they need no pre-approval on any tier.

Equipment. Any device the client uses is a separate client purchase and isn't part of any Neuro Support invoice.

Comparison context. A single weekly hour of in-person support work runs NZ$3,000 to $4,000 per year. Higher-frequency support arrangements run NZ$10,000 to $20,000 per year. Neuro Support is built to reduce ongoing support hours by building the support into the client's own daily system, run with a specialist support worker.

The cost being addressed. The cost this service addresses is already being paid. Missed appointments, late fees, lapsed applications, and the load of holding everything in working memory are the running cost of unsupported executive function. The service is priced against that existing cost, and is built to stop it being paid.

Who delivers the service

Jamie.

Fifteen years of experience as a support worker. BA in Human Services with a Psychology minor. Lived experience of ADHD. Based in Christchurch.

The service is built from the inside out by someone who supports the population it is built for.

Scope of practice. Jamie is a support worker who builds systems. Not a therapist, counsellor, clinician, lawyer, financial adviser, or crisis service. The work is practical: reduce the load, capture what keeps escaping, make the next step clearer, build routines that survive real life.

IF hosts

Manawanui precedent; other hosts on request.

Neuro Support works with several IF hosts. Manawanui has previously paid a client's invoice for a Neuro Agent purchase at the NZ$1,499 per-transaction level (April 2026), under a pricing structure that has since been retired. That payment is a precedent for the purchase type, not the price. The indicative NZ$1,399 first month and NZ$499/month ongoing service are priced on the cost of delivery, and sit below the pre-approval threshold as a result.

Support Sessions are routine support-worker time and are invoiced after each session, the same way any host already pays for support work.

For other hosts, email Jamie with the host name and any specific approval requirements. Documentation can be provided on request.

Pathway

Discovery Call and Support Sessions now. The first month when the app opens.

  1. 01
Discovery Call. Free, 15 to 30 minutes, online or phone. The client (or you, on their behalf) books a call with Jamie. The call is for working out fit and answering questions.
  2. 02
Support Sessions (available now). Booked as needed, in person in Christchurch or online across NZ. Jamie invoices after each session. Every session sits below the pre-approval threshold for every tier, Tier 4 included, so it's the way to fund Neuro Support through IF today.
  3. 03
First month (opening soon). It opens with the Neuro Agent app. Indicative NZ$1,399: a 90-minute interview plus 8 x 15-minute Support Sessions across the month, building the client's system with them. The waitlist holds the client's place, and Jamie keeps the funder or coordinator in the loop on timing.
  4. 04
Ongoing service (optional, opening soon). Neuro Support, NZ$499/month (indicative), keeps the system sound and provides Help and four 15-minute Support Sessions a month, with unused sessions rolling over up to a maximum of eight, while the client learns to run it. Clients can stop any time, and the system is theirs to keep.

You are welcome to join or observe a Discovery Call with the client's consent.
